This lovely little film came out in 1996 but I do not remember hearing or reading about it then. Tonight Showtime presented it and I became immersed in the lives of these characters. Written by Scott Rosenberg and directed by Ted Demme this poignant film captured my interest from the very first minute. If you have not seen it, look for it on cable or rent the dvd. Tim Hutton and Matt Dillon prove what fine actors they are, as do the rest of the cast.
