It's not Thelma and Louise, nor Oprah and Gail

It's Kate and Allyson...

This morning is the second day of my retirement and I was awake at 5:30 am to pack the 4 coolers with food and drink from the refrigerator. Now I will go down to the concierge and get the luggage cart to haul the remaining boxes, one suitcase, one 42" duffel bag and coolers -- all things that must be packed into my small (now healthy) Honda Civic. In about an hour or so, Allyson and I will head toward Huntington, West Virginia, the first night's stop on moving me to Sun City West AZ!

An exciting morning beginning a new chapter in my life.

Subsequent stops on this journey include:
St. Louis MO because I have never seen the arch in person;
Manhattan KS because it is halfway between St. Louis and Colorado Springs;
Colorado Springs where my brother lives;
Taos and Santa Fe.............just BECAUSE!
And my final destination, although not Allyson's since she will fly back to Boston: Sun City West AZ to my new house and home.
