Molly Ivins died after an 8-year battle with breast cancer. I met her after her keynote speech to the National Rural Health Association, maybe 20 years ago. After we chatted for a while she gave me a tremendous compliment [I think :-)]. She said I matched her barb for barb and would I be interested in going on the road together! Thank goodness her political insight and acerbic wit will live on in her writing.
